Labor Advisory No. 19-22 Guidelines on the Processing and Issuance of Permit to Operate and Certificate of Electrical Inspection to the Regional Offices

-- The public is informed of the Guidelines on the Processing and Issuance of Permit to Operate (PTO) and Certificate of Electrical Inspection (CEI).

Complete application forms and documentary requirements shall be submitted to the DOLE-Regional Office having jurisdiction over the fabricator's business address, or the place where the equipment will be installed. Forms may be downloaded from the BWC or DOLE-RO websites.

The Certificate of Appearance (CA) of a professional engineer may be requested from the DOLE Regional or Field/Provincial Office, free of charge. The CA is coterminous with the validity of the applicant's PRC license at the time of appearance.

UPDATE: All existing CAs shall still be valid, provided that the validity date has not yet lapsed.
